An Aided EMI Secondary School invites application for the following posts:

 

1. English Language & Junior Form History Teacher (GM) (Contract / Regular) for 2026-27 academic year

  • Relevant degree and preferably with recognized teaching qualification (PGDE)
  • Fulfil the EDB Language Proficiency Requirement (LPR) for English teachers
  • Obtain a pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check
  • Previous teaching experience in schools is an advantage

 

2. Mathematics & M2 Teacher (GM) (Contract / Regular) for 2026-27 academic year

  • Relevant degree and preferably with recognized teaching qualification (PGDE)
  • Obtain a pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check
  • Previous teaching experience in schools is an advantage

4. Music Panel Head (GM) (Contract / Regular) for 2026-27 academic year

  • Relevant degree and preferably with recognized teaching qualification (PGDE)
  • Obtain a pass in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check
  • Previous teaching experience in schools is an advantage
  • About the Role
    • We seek a passionate Head of Music Panel to lead our school's Choir and Brass Band. This role goes beyond conducting—it's about making music a powerful force for students' whole-life, all-rounded development.
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Direct and coordinate both ensembles (rehearsals, performances, events)
    • Lead the music teaching panel and mentor fellow instructors
    • Build discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership through music-making
    • Nurture student talent from beginner to advanced levels
    • Experienced in directing choirs and/or brass bands in school or youth settings
    • Deeply passionate about music as a tool for holistic student growth—emotionally, socially, and personally

 

5. Library Master (non-teaching post)

  • Holder of a Higher Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Training / knowledge in Librarianship is an advantage
  • Relevant working experience in a school library preferred
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check
  • About the Role
    • Manage borrowed/returned books and update library materials.
    • Creating a welcoming environment with stimulating displays.
    • Supporting students and teachers with library check-outs and resource navigation.
    • Coordinating library events and maintaining an organized space.
    • Cataloging new books and magazines and ordering materials.
    • Maintaining inventory and reporting borrowing statistics.
    • Supervising students and conducting library lessons.
    • Managing student librarians.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, the Library Master will foster a love of reading and learning while ensuring an efficient and engaging library experience.

 

 

 

6. Chinese Language Associate Teacher (for NCS Students)

Teach and provide learning support to Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) students

  • University graduate or equivalent, major in Chinese Language
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check

 

 

7. Volleyball Team Coach / Athletic Team Coach (part-time)

  • Form 6 graduate
  • With relevant coaching experience and holding coach qualification granted by recognized organization are preferred
  • Provide regular training for students every week
    • Volleyball: every Tuesday
    • Athletic: every Tuesday or Thursday
  • Lead the school teams to take part in inter-school competition
  • Undergo Sexual Conviction Record Check
