ICT Teachers Secure Champion at International AI in Education Competition

We are proud to announce that Mr CHENG Man-kin and Miss CHUNG Wing Tung of Po Leung Kuk No.1 W.H. Cheung College have been awarded Champion at the 2nd International Competition on AI in Education 2026, organised by the Artificial Intelligence Research and Education Alliance (AIREA) and The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Our entry was selected from 212 submissions across more than a dozen countries and regions.

The project, The SCALE Framework — School-based Collaborative for AI Literacy and Ethics, puts into practice the "One-Third Principle": a new STEAM paradigm that develops "Tech Creativity × Citizenship" in students through AI. It was one of only five champion projects recognised at the Final Pitch on 15 July 2026.

We warmly congratulate our colleagues on this achievement, and look forward to sharing the SCALE Framework with the wider education community.
